After hearing you talk about your drive yesterday, I am so happy to see these pictures. They're all lovely, but the first is simply stunning. It made me think of Stafford's One Home, and this last stanza:
The sun was over our town; it was like a blade. Kicking cottonwood leaves we ran toward storms. Wherever we looked the land would hold us up.
